She had to call us at home to have us call the nurses station to assist my mother because the call button had fallen on the floor. Saturdays barely had any staff due to Sabbath Day. While all of this was happening several workers were standing in the front of the building watching all of this and did nothing to help us.

The staff is very helpful, accommodating, and attentive. Jewish Home of Rochester was very nice, bright, and welcoming, which was important. The people were very nice and the rehab seemed to be very thorough. The people who helped me were nice and accommodating. My friend is in there and he had $350 cash stolen from his room.

I was told all of the "good" staff had transferred to the new Green Houses area, and this left the rehab short staffed. The meals were also just disgusting and not edible. I had to argue with nurses to allow me to take a shower each day. Administrators had an excuse for why the care was so bad but at the end of my stay, they still presented me with a hefty bill despite not receiving the care I had been promised in any way.
